Accessibility Statement

I want this site to work for everyone who visits it, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or other assistive technology.

Where things stand
I'm working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard most organisations aim for. I'm not claiming full conformance yet. This site is built on Wix Studio, which provides accessibility features, and I'm reviewing and improving the site as I go.

Known areas I'm still working on:

• Descriptive alternative text on every image

• Colour contrast on some decorative and overlaid text

• Consistent heading structure across all pages
   

Please tell me if something doesn't work
If you hit a page you can't use, or something that makes the site hard to navigate, email me at dizzie@hidizzie.com. Tell me the page and what happened and I'll look at it.
I work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and reply within one to two business days. If a fix will take longer, I'll tell you when to expect it, and I'll find another way to get you whatever the page was supposed to give you.

Third-party content
Some parts of this site come from elsewhere, including the Instagram feed on the homepage and my booking forms. I don't control how accessible those are, but if one of them blocks you, tell me and I'll find you another route.
Why this matters to me

I build websites for other people. It would be strange to care about that work and not care whether my own site is usable. If you find something broken, you're doing me a favor by saying so.
