Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms cover using hidizzie.com and working with Hi Dizzie, which is Dizzie Design Co LLC, a Missouri limited liability company. Using this site means you accept the website terms. Hiring me means you accept the engagement terms too.

If you and I sign a separate agreement for a project, that agreement wins wherever it differs from this page.

Using this website

Everything on this site is here for information. Nothing on it is a binding offer, a guarantee of results, or professional legal, financial, tax or accounting advice. Prices shown are current at the time of writing and can change.

Don't copy my words, designs, graphics or frameworks for your own commercial use without asking. They're mine.

Working together

Scope. Every engagement starts with a written proposal that names what's included, what isn't, the timeline and the price. That proposal is the scope. Anything outside it is new work and gets quoted separately.

Payment. Terms are set in your proposal. Monthly plans are due on the same date each month. Project work usually requires 50% before anything begins. Late payment lets me pause work until the account is current.

Revisions. Three brand directions are presented. Each deliverable gets three rounds of revisions. Feedback should be consolidated and sent together. Changes after a deliverable is approved are new work.

Communication. I work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Email is the channel, and I reply within one to two business days on those days. No texting, DMs or unscheduled calls.

What you're responsible for. Booking your sessions, doing the work between them, and getting me content, assets, logins, feedback and approvals when we agreed. If those are late, timelines move. Repeated delays may end the engagement with no refund of work already done.

What I'm responsible for. Doing the work described in your proposal, to a professional standard, on the agreed timeline, as long as you hold up your end.

Results

I'll give you my best thinking, real strategy and work I stand behind. I can't promise revenue, traffic, client numbers or any other outcome. Too much depends on your market, your execution and things neither of us controls. Nobody honest promises otherwise.

Who owns what

Once you've paid in full, final approved deliverables are yours. Brand assets, website files and documents: yours.

What stays mine: my frameworks, templates, processes and working files, including concepts you didn't choose. Third-party assets like fonts, stock images and plugins stay under their own licences, and ongoing fees for them are yours.

I'd like to show finished work in my portfolio and on social media. If you'd rather I didn't, tell me and I won't.

Confidentiality

What you tell me about your business stays between us, unless you've said it can be shared or the law requires me to disclose it. I'd expect the same from you about my methods and pricing.

Cancelling

Either of us can end an engagement with 30 days' written notice. You pay for work completed up to that point. Payments already made for completed work aren't refundable.

If you cancel part-way through a payment plan, the balance for work already delivered is still due.

I reserve the right to end an engagement immediately if the working relationship becomes abusive or repeatedly disrespects the boundaries above. This has never happened and I don't expect it to.

Things outside my control

I'm not responsible for delays caused by illness, platform outages, third-party vendors, natural disasters or other events beyond reasonable control. If something like that happens I'll tell you and we'll adjust.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, my total liability for anything connected to an engagement is capped at the amount you actually paid me for it. I'm not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any dispute goes to the courts of St. Louis, Missouri.

Before anyone escalates anything, I'd ask that we talk it through first. Most problems are a misunderstanding about scope, and most are fixable in a conversation.

Changes

I may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. Changes don't affect an engagement already underway.
