Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Hi Dizzie is run by Dizzie Design Co LLC, based in St. Louis, Missouri. This page explains what information I collect through hidizzie.com, why I collect it, and what I do with it. If anything here is unclear, email me at dizzie@hidizzie.com and I'll answer properly.
What I collect
When you fill in a form. My enquiry and contact forms ask for your name, email address, and whatever you tell me about your business. You choose what to share. Forms are handled through Dubsado, my client management system.
When you email me. Your email address and the contents of your message, which stay in my inbox.
When you become a client. Information needed to run the engagement: billing details, business documents, logins you choose to share, and anything you send me during our work together.
When you visit the site. Standard analytics from Wix, including your approximate location, browser and device type, which pages you looked at and how long you stayed. This is aggregated and doesn't identify you by name.
I don't buy contact lists and I don't scrape data. Everything I hold, you gave me.
Why I collect it
To reply to your enquiry. To deliver work you've hired me for. To send invoices and take payment. To keep records required for tax and accounting. If you've opted in, to email you occasionally about Hi Dizzie.
That's the whole list. I don't use your information for anything you didn't come here for.
Who else sees it
A small number of services I use to run the business:
Service
What it handles
Wix
Hosting this website and basic site analytics
Dubsado
Forms, proposals, contracts and client files
Google Workspace
Email and document storage
Stripe
Invoicing and card payments
Each of these has its own privacy policy. I share only what the service needs to do its job. I don't sell your information to anyone, ever, and I never will.
I may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that keep it working properly and cookies that tell me how the site is being used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
The Instagram feed on my homepage is served by Instagram, which sets its own cookies and follows Meta's privacy policy rather than mine.
How long I keep things
Enquiries that don't become projects: two years, then deleted. Client records: seven years after the engagement ends, because tax rules require it. Email list: until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or ask for a copy. Email dizzie@hidizzie.com and I'll come back to you within 30 days.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. One click and you're off the list.
If you're in the UK or EU
UK and EU data protection law gives you additional rights, including the right to object to how I use your information and the right to complain to a regulator. My legal basis for processing is usually your consent, or the need to perform a contract we've both agreed to. The same email address works for these requests.
Security
The services I use are reputable and encrypted. I use strong passwords and two-factor authentication. That said, no system online is completely secure, and I can't promise perfect protection.
Children
This site is for business owners. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If I change this policy I'll update the date at the top. Material changes get an email to anyone actively working with me.
